EMCC Global accredits individuals, educational programs, and organizations while recognizing prior learning and experience in alignment with internationally recognized frameworks.

EMCC Global accredits individuals (leaders, mentors, coaches, team coaches, programme managers and supervisors), education and training programmes, and organisations. We recognise prior learning and experience in awarding individual accreditations – aligned to Internationally Recognised Frameworks for Higher Education and Lifelong Learning Qualifications. 

 

 

The EMCC Global Individual Accreditation (EIA) is an internationally recognised accreditation that demonstrates that an individual practising as a professional mentor and/or coach, and/or leader using these skills specific to role and context has the appropriate level of knowledge and the ability to apply it effectively in their practice.

Mentors, Coaches and Leaders who have undergone a programme with one of our EMCC Global Quality Award providers (see below) will have already received the quantity and standard of education and training they need to evidence as part of their application. EMCC Global also correctly recognizes and respects validated prior learning and learning credits valid across geographical borders; aligned to the Internatonally Recognised Higher Education and Lifelong Learning Qualification Frameworks.

The EMCC Global Quality Award (EQA) is an internationally recognised accreditation for providers of mentoring/coaching training. These providers can demonstrate that they meet the professional standards required by EMCC Global. Graduates of an EQA-accredited provider will be able to apply for their own EMCC Global Individual Accreditation (EIA) through their provider.

EMCC Global has a framework for assessment based on extensive consultation and the most comprehensive research of mentoring/coaching/leadership development produced to date. The emphasis of this accreditation is to raise standards while acknowledging existing excellence.

The EMCC Global Supervision Individual Accreditation (ESIA) is an internationally recognised accreditation that demonstrates that an individual practicing as a professional supervisor specific to role and context has the appropriate level of knowledge and the ability to apply it effectively in his/her practice.

​

The EMCC Global Supervision Quality Award (ESQA) is an internationally recognised accreditation for supervision education and training programmes. Programmes attaining the ESQA are recognised by EMCC Global as having met stringent professional standards.

The Individual Team Coaching Accreditation (ITCA) is an internationally recognised accreditation that demonstrates that an individual practising as a professional team coach, specific to role and context, has the appropriate level of knowledge and the ability to apply it effectively in their practice. Team Coaches who have completed a programme with one of our EMCC Global Team Coaching Quality Award (TCQA) providers will already have received the quantity and standard of education and training they need to evidence as part of their application.

 

EMCC Global also recognises and respects validated prior learning and learning credits valid across geographical borders, aligned to the Internationally Recognised Higher Education and Lifelong Learning Qualification Frameworks.

The International Standards for Mentoring and Coaching Programmes (ISMCP) is an international independent accreditation awarded to organisations designing, delivering, and evaluating mentoring and/or coaching programmes either ‘in-house’ or externally. It is an integral and essential step on the path to establishing the professional credibility and status of good mentoring and/or coaching programme management.

ISMCP provides a checklist and a comprehensive framework and benchmark for organisations who are creating and maintaining a mentoring and/or coaching organisational mindset and culture.

The EMCC Global Team Coaching Quality Award (TCQA) for education and training providers and the EMCC Global Individual Team Coaching Accreditation (ITCA) integrated into the delivery of the TCQA were introduced in April 2020.

​

The EMCC Global Individual Programme Manager Accreditation (IPMA) and EMCC Global Programme Manager Quality Award (PMQA) is for individuals and providers respectively, who are progressing in managing programmes of coaching, mentoring, supervision and leadership development.
