Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on 15 August 2025

We at EMCC USA are working to make our site www.emccusa.org accessible to people with disabilities.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We strive to meet or exceed the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines help make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of abilities and disabilities, including visual, auditory, cognitive, and motor impairments.

Measures We Take
  • To support accessibility, we:

  • Use clear, simple, and consistent navigation.

  • Ensure text is readable with adequate color contrast.

  • Provide alternative text for images.

  • Make forms accessible with properly labeled fields.

  • Use headings and structure for ease of screen reader navigation.

  • Design pages to be navigable by keyboard.

Ongoing Efforts Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We regularly review our site and content to identify and address any accessibility issues. Our team is committed to continuous improvement and welcomes feedback to help us enhance accessibility.
